This policy explains how loseweight.com.my ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data from visitors to this website, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Booking and "claim your free analysis" forms: your name, phone number, preferred day and time, and the language you are using.
- Body composition checker: the measurements you enter (gender, age, height, weight, body fat and visceral fat) and the results calculated from them. If you tick the consent box, your name and phone number are saved with the result; otherwise the result is saved without any contact details.
- On your own device: your language choice, the popup preference and, if you press "Save", your last result are kept in your browser storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
How we use it
- To contact you by phone or WhatsApp to arrange your free body composition analysis and answer your questions.
- To prepare for your appointment and to follow up on your progress.
- To prevent spam and misuse of our forms.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for unrelated marketing without asking you first.
Contact by phone and WhatsApp
By ticking the consent box you agree that a coach may contact you by phone or WhatsApp about your free analysis. WhatsApp is a third-party service with its own privacy policy. Messages you send us through WhatsApp are handled through that service.
Who can see your data
Your data is stored on our server and is accessible only to authorised staff. We may share it with service providers that host or maintain the website, who may only use it to provide that service, or where the law requires it. This website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, and for any period required by law. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, to withdraw your consent, or to have your data deleted. Withdrawing consent means we will stop contacting you; it does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
Health information
The body composition checker gives estimates for general information only. It is not a medical assessment. Please do not enter more health information than the checker asks for.
